Very accommodating for coeliacs and altered a dish to make it gluten free - a small detail but sign of a great restaurant. Daily specials as well, sea bass was delicious, as was the steak. “ Visited here one fine evening. Was promptly greeted by a Beautiful lady who turned out to be one of the co-owners. Extremely welcoming and looked after a party of 4 with ease. The pasta has to be one of the best ones I’ve had in London. Shout out to the delicious cocktails she served. Shame I couldn’t click a few pictures. Great vibes and ambience indoors with sitting available outside too. Service was quick and the food simply Yumazing. Definitely recommend Will visit again soon. ”

“ Lo Zafferano is a New Restaurant on the site of the now closed La Scarpetta. Lo Zafferano opened its doors on the 7 November 2022 with a new manager and head chef (who are also the new owners!). All reviews before this date should be disregarded! We had a really enjoyable evening here tonight... we started with a couple of excellent Negroni cocktails and some great homemade focaccia. We shared a starter of grilled squid with salami which was great, the squid being very tender. My calves liver was perfect: really thin slices, not overcooked with a balanced sauce with onions. My wife had the mixed grilled fish which was deftly cooked, lightly seasoned and had a great variety! We finished by sharing a peice of their homemade Tres Leche cake with Italian meringue - stunning! A small but perfectly formed wine list is available and a comprehensive cocktail menu as well. Warm, genuine and friendly service and the pride of the 2 owners was very evident! Highly recommended and Lo Zafferano deserves to be a success! ”
